Vietnam Golf & Country Club is the first 36-hole golf club in Vietnam and is widely regarded as Vietnam’s Premier Golf and Country Club.
Located just 20 kilometres from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Golf and Country Club is also the nearest golf club to the city.
Set amongst 300 hectares of land, two great golf courses have been carved out of the existing woodland with minimal land movement, leaving you feel that the land was always destined to be a golf course, so natural is the lay-out and design.
The West course first opened in December 1994, and was designed by Taiwanese architect Chen King Shih. The Par 72 Championship Course hosted the Vietnam Open (Asian PGA Tour Event) in both 1995 and 1997. The course winds its way through the trees offering challenging tee shots to the tree lined fairways before playing to the softly contoured Bermuda TifEagle greens, which provide beautiful putting surfaces all year round.
The Ocean Dunes Golf Club located in Phan Thiet was designed by Nick Faldo. It is an outstanding natural site with sand dunes, sea breezes and fantastic sea views. Nick has let the dunes determine the natural routing and look of the course.
The Dalat Palace Golf Club is a masterpiece in design. Gently crafted into the rolling hills of Dalat and overlooking the majestic Xuan Huong lake, the course weaves its way through stately pine trees to oversized and delicately manicured bent grass greens.

Itinerary in details:

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - arrival (D)
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Met by local guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Having dinner with Performance Traditional Dance on the boat sailing along Saigon river. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam Golf & Country Club (B/L)

 

Full day at Vietnam Golf & Country Club, the only one GOlf club has two 18 holes golf courses: West & East course. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3:  Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B/L)

 

Drive to My Tho, upon arrival embark a private boat to see Floating Fish Market. Then continue cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) and stop over a garden restaurant at a local house for Vietnamese lunch. The motorized boat cruise more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, see round a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet - Ocean Dune Golf Club (B/L)

 

After breakfast, take 3.5 hours trip to Phan Thiet with sightseeing of Vietnamese country side and beaches on the way. In the afternoon, it is time for golf games at Ocean Dunes Golf Club. The Ocean Dunes Golf Club is an outstanding natural site with sand dunes, sea breezes, beach vegetation, and sea views. "We have let the dunes determine the routing and the look of the golf course. It should have the feel and the playability of the early seaside courses, but with a tropical climate" says Nick Faldo, the designer. Overnight in Mui Ne.

Day 5: Phan Thiet - Da Lat (B/L)
Free time in the morning for swimming and sunbathing. Check out at noon time and transfer to Dalal (220 km) with a stop at Poklong Garai Towers. Arrive in Da Lat in the afternoon. Overnight in Dalat.

 

 

Day 6: Da Lat - Dalat Golf Club (B/L)
Golfing at Dalat Golf Club. The 18-hole course is crafted into the area?s gently rolling hills, surrounded by stately pine trees, and seated above majestic Xuan Huong lake, named after an eighteenth century woman poet. Later visit Flower garden, XQ embroidery, Hang Nga Crazy House. Overnight in Dalat.

Day 7: Da Lat - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
After breakfast, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, with a stop to visit Dambri Waterfalls and tea/coffee break at Bao Loc town. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
City tour in the morning: visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Post office, Chinese market, hand-made workshops and Ao Dai shops. Transfer to the airport for departure. End tour
