Itinerary in details:

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Arrive in Noi Bai airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your central city hotel. And then free time until have dinner and the water puppet show at night. Overnight in Hanoi  

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast we take a coach to the fabulous Halong Bay. We will have our boat, built in the style of a Chinese Junk, opulently decorated. After we set off we have a terrific silver service lunch on board as we head for the Sung Sot cave and its limestone structures. In the soft Vietnamese night you can try your hand at fishing. You sleep anchored in the Bay, rocked by the gentle ocean waves

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/D)
We continue cruising on the Bay until just after lunch when we dock again at Halong bay. Our coach will meet us and return to our Hanoi Hotel for some free time. Tonight is our last in this city as in the morning we will set off on one of the most interesting trips of the tour

Day 4: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B/L/D)
Today we travel by coach close to the hill village of Mai Chau so that a 2-hour trek through agricultural Vietnam brings us to a traditional White Thai Village. We will be met by our host with a traditional tea ceremony. We can walk around the village, meeting the people and looking at the handcrafts for sale. That night we will sleep in the thatched home after an optional ceremony of dance

Day 5: Mai Chau – Hanoi –Overnight train to Hue (B/L)
After breakfast with the family, we return by coach to Hanoi. Now it is time to leave Hanoi and move to Hue. To save time and as a change from the coach we will travel by overnight sleeper train. Since we are not cheeked into a hotel, we have arranged day-room at the hotel to store our luggage and a place to freshen up. There will be time for shopping before we go to the station to catch our train

Day 6: Hue – city tour (L/D)
After the morning arrival in Hue we check into our hotel. We go to a restaurant for lunch before boarding our private Dragon boat on the perfume River, so named because of the Emperor’s incense burner while establishing the site of the Forbidden city. We make two stops the Thien Mu pagoda and Tu Duc’s Tomb. That night we sleep in the hotel in Hue

Day 7: Hue – Hoian (B/L/D)
Our coach takes us to Hoian today. Hoian is one of the prettiest towns in Vietnam and a multi-cultural trading centre from ancient times. We have lunch in a restaurant beside the river before undertaking a heritage walking tour, visiting historic sites of the old quarter and the sprawling marketplace. Hoian is famous for its tailoring shops and men and women on the tour will be able to have clothes made for them overnight which can be delivered to our hotel before we leave in the morning

Day 8: Hoian – Danang – Whale island (B/D)
Morning departure for Danang city for a short flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, transfer directly to Whale Island where you are going to make your first night dive. After dinner, take your motor boat to the Whale island dive site area called Van Phong bay, an absolutely untouched place where we are sure you will have a good Vietnam dive experience

Day 9: Whale island relaxation (B/L/D)
Your free day in Whale Island for relaxing. You can also optionally enjoy some resort facilities such as wind surfing, kayaking, fishing or just relax on the white sandy beach in front of your bungalow. Dinner and overnight in Whale Island

Day 10: Nha Trang (B/L)
Get your speed boat to return to the mainland for departure to Nha Trang – beach city. Check-in hotel. Afternoon accompanied by our guide do a short city tour, visiting Long Son Pagoda, Dam market before we experience a mud bath in the afternoon at Suoi Ba mud bath centre. Overnight in Nha Trang

 

Day 11: Nha Trang – full day dive (B/L)
Departure early to Cau Da pier where you meet your boat and dive instructor. Leave Mun island for your first 45 minutes dive. Lunch on boat and free for swimming. Afternoon, dive in another site before heading. Back to the dock. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Nhatrang

Day 12: Nha Trang – Saigon (B/L)
Morning flight to Saigon. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a delicious noodle lunch before departure to Cu Chi fighting tunnels. Visiting the tunnels with our guide. Back to Sai Gon in the afternoon. Rest of your day is free for leisure

Day 13: Sai Gon – Phu Quoc (B/D)
A short flight takes you to Phu Quoc Island where you will dive in the afternoon. Transfer to your Sai Gon Phu Quoc Hotel. Meet your instructor and get full information about this paradise island and your dive sites. All afternoon is your dive experience in Phu Quoc. Dinner and overnight in Phu Quoc

Day 14: Phu Quoc relax (B)

 

 

Your free day to explore further to surrounding villages where you see some local factories of Phu Quoc’s famous specialty – Fish Sauce. Overnight in Phu Quoc

Day 15: Phu Quoc – Sai Gon (B/D)
Flight back to Sai Gon in the morning. Rest of the day is free for shopping or sightseeing in Sai Gon. Farewell dinner and overnight in Sai Gon

Day 16: Sai Gon Departure (B)
At your leisure until get your free transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for tour flight home
