This newly designed trip is packed full of variety covering the major sights in both North and South of Vietnam in 15days.  From the capital city of Hanoi to the tranquility of trekking in Sapa and cruising in Halong Bay, from the historical and cultural centers of Hue and Hoian, diving and swimming on the beaches of Nha Trang and  Danang to the modern metropolis of Saigon and meander through the lush Mekong Delta. This tour has it all.

Itinerary in details:

Day 1: Hanoi (D)
Greeting at Noi Bai Airport and transfer with our guide to your hotel in Hanoi. Enjoy the brief excursion to visit the Old Quarters by Cycles in 1hour. Dinner. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi – Lao Cai (B/L)
Breakfast and visit the historical city of Hanoi. In the morning visit HochiMinh’s Mausoleum, and his private residence, the One Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, next to the West Lake. The temple of Literature (the first university of Vietnam – built in 1070) and the Museum of Army. Lunch, and then in the late afternoon we enjoy “Water Puppet Show” – Vietnamese famous traditional art. Take a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.

Day 3: Lao Cai/Sapa (B/L) (Option to Sunday Bac Ha Market)

 

Arriving Lao Cai railway station, transfer to Sapa, at 1650m above sea level that is misty and beautiful and is a part of the last mountains in the Himalayan chain including Mount Fanxipan 3.143 m. The environment here is vastly different than the rest of Vietnam being very cool at times. Take a day visit Ham Rong mountain, Catcat Village. Overnight in Sapa

Day 4: Sapa/Lao Cai – Hanoi
Today, we will go trekking full-day to Lao Chai, Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai Villages, visit the beauty of Muong Hoa valley, and traditional cultures of H’mong, Zay, Zao ethnic people. Then, transfer back to Lao Cai railway station and catch the night train to Hanoi

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Arriving Hanoi in the morning early, Breakfast. Then, go to Halong Bay.  Cruising out to Bay to visit the most beautiful cave: Amazing Cave, Kayaking or swimming on Titop Island. Overnight on the junk

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B/L)
Be sure to be woken up by waves and seabirds but lucky for you to see the sun rising for a nice day. After breakfast, keep on cruising to visit Luon Cave, Bai Tu Long Bay. Lunch on the boat on the way back Halong City. Driving back to Hanoi and catch the night Hue train.

Day 7: Hue (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the last imperial capital of Vietnam from 1524 to 1945 and has recently been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Full-day city tour of Hue offers us an opportunity to explore th “Forbidden City”, Imperial Palace. A long boat cruise on the Perfume River to view some fine examples of Buddhist architecture and visit Thien Mu pagoda. This is your chance to explore the center that the historic, cultural and romantic combination. Visit Khai Dinh Tomb and Tu Duc Tomb, home to over 140 historic works of architecture. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Danang (B)
Heading south, we visit the fascinating Cham in Danang and explore the Buddhist Shrines of the Marble Mountains. Departure to Hoian, a small and charming city, located at border of Thu Ban River. Afternoon, we will make a stroll between the 844 houses and temples in Hoian, including  Tan Ky’s house, 200 years of antiquity, city market, locating on the right bank of river and one of the most colorful places of the trip. Overnight in Hoian

Day 9-10-11-12 Hoian – Nha Trang/Whale island (B/L/D)
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner in the Whale Island Resort. Scuba diving in the best beautiful island of Vietnam

Day 13: Nha Trang – Hochiminh City (B)
After breakfast transfer to Nha Trang Airport for the flight to Hochiminh City. Then, Hochiminh City tour including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office, Criminal Museum, Cho Lon Market…Overnight in Hochiminh City

Day 14: Hochiminh City – Mekong Delta (B/L)
Transfer to Vinh Long for 4 hours. Full-day trip to Mekong Delta. Take a boat trip along narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation and try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards. Enjoy the landscape of the Mekong Delta where we take a boat to visit the locating market Cai Be. Lunch in the bonsai garden. Return to Hochiminh City and visit Tay Son lacquer ware factory on the way. Overnight in Hochiminh City.

Day 15: Hochiminh City Departure (B)
At leisure for shopping until your flight.
