Feature:
Hue city that is located in the center of Vietnam on the bank of the Perfume River. It is about 660 km from the South of Hanoi capital and about 560km from the North of Ho Chi Minh City which is the biggest ones in Vietnam formerly known as Sai Gon. Hue city is also one of places having many cultural heritages, which have earned it a place in the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. The seat of the Nguyen emperors was in the Citadel, which occupies a large, walled area on the north side of the perfume river. Inside the citadel was a forbidden city where only the concubines, emperors, and those close enough to them were granted access. Today, little of the Forbidden City remains, though reconstruction efforts are in progress to maintain it as a tourist attraction as a view of the history of Huế.
On the northern bank of Perfume River has relics consisting of palaces, which were constructed as arc defensive ramparts with 11km length. This valuable construction includes more than 100 architectural works which were extremely reflected the life of Emperors and mandarins under reign of Nguyen.

Situated in the middle of hills on the southern bank of Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Kings Nguyen. Among these tombs are the four famous ones with the name and the arrangements of the tomb reflected each Emperor’s points of view, personality and tastes. This is majestic Gia Long Tomb, imposing Minh Mang Tomb, poetic Tu Duc Tomb and magnificent Khai Dinh Tomb.
As a unique city of Vietnam still remains its form of City under Middle Age and the constructions of monarchic, Hue has become a big and invaluable museum. Therefore, vestiges in Hue ancient capital have been classified by the government as a very precious property and on December 1993 Hue has been recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO.

This elegant complex of tombs, temples, and pavilions is especially interesting because Tu Duc used it as a retreat during his lifetime. Nearby is the fantastic tomb of Khai Dinh, the next-to-last emperor of the dynasty, which incorporates colorful mosaics and exotic styles.

Day 2: Boat trip on Perfume River (B/L/)
The best way to appreciate the Perfume River is by boat. The first stop is Thien Mu Pagoda, which was dedicated by the Nguyen lords to a mysterious "holy lady" who predicted that they would become rulers of this land.
If you would like, we can take you to the tomb of the first emperor, Gia Long, which is rarely visited by tourists because it is the furthest from the city. Though the temple to Gia Long is modest in scale, the natural setting is one of the most remote and peaceful spots in all of Vietnam. On the way back, the boat will let you off at the tomb of the second emperor, Minh Mang, which is considered one of the most beautiful and best-preserved of the monuments of Hue.
