Features: Cu chi tunnel is a network of underground tunnel that Viet Cong dug it to avoid bombing during American war. Surprisingly, they dug the tunnel Cuchi during the war. And the trip today will show you the life of Vietnamese people in that tunnel.
Cu Chi Tunnels consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. Cu Chi District is known nationwide as the base where the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968.The tunnels are between 0.5 to 1m      
wide, just enough space for a person to walk along by bending or dragging. The upper soil layer is between 3 to 4m thick and can support the weight of a 50-ton tank and the damage of light cannons and bombs. The underground network provided sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, hospitals, and other social rooms. Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels provides a better understanding of the prolonged resistance war of the Vietnamese people and also of the persistent and clever character of the Vietnamese nation.

8h00: Tour guide pick you up at your hotel
The sightseeing tour acquaints us with some major sights of the city. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the Cho Lon market, Saigon’s China town, which is crammed with fascinating temples and Mysterious, narrow lanes. We then drive this afternoon to explore the Cuchi Tunnel, an incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometers constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence.
